About
History Snacks is a father-and-son project, built around curiosity — and made possible by modern AI.
It began as a simple idea: using today’s tools to explore history together, one day at a time. AI made it possible to generate large amounts of content thoughtfully and consistently, turning small questions into something we could browse, discuss, and reflect on.
Every entry on this site is generated with the help of AI. The goal isn’t automation for its own sake, but empowerment — using these tools to make exploration accessible, scalable, and personal in a way that would otherwise be difficult for a small project.
The content is designed to be calm and intentional. Each event is meant to stand on its own: brief, complete, and approachable. You don’t need to read everything, and you don’t need to go deep unless you want to.
Some events include illustrations, generated in the same spirit — interpretive rather than literal. They’re meant to add texture, not authority. If an event has no image, nothing is missing.
History Snacks isn’t optimized for virality, outrage, or endless scrolling. It’s an experiment in what becomes possible when powerful tools are used with restraint and care.
If you leave having learned one small thing you didn’t know before, it’s done its job.
